Hey peoples. Today I'm gonna blog about one of my new Playstation 3 games. Here it goes.

The game I am writing about is Little Big Planet 2. It is a E for everyone game. The story is based on children's imagination and dreams. Once a dream is created it floats up into a dimension called the Wonderplane. The Wonderplane is filled with round lands like planets, each one a persons hopes and dreams. All of the sudden a weird machine/animal comes along called the Negativeatron (which I like to think is made up of nightmares but I don't think it specifies) and starts taking over Wonderplane. You are Sackthing and it is your job to join the alliance and stop the Negativeatron.

Drake from uncharted 3, my moms favorite game, turned into a sackperson.

The Wonderplane looks like it is all made out of crafts like it was disassembled and reassembled on its way from someone's dreams to up in the Wonderplane. For example the main character when he doesn't have a costume on is made up of cloth with a zipper, plastic eyes, and a piece of cardboard for a tongue. Overall the art is very good and it is nice to have a game where it has is a little upbeat scenery and art style. The graphics are nice too and everything is very well done with a equal opportunity for such grace in the level editor. I haven't tried the level editor yet but reviews say it is more simple than the first game which I will need if I plan to make a level.

The game is a level based platformer in which you go along in the levels avoiding enemies and hazards. Most often the levels are a mix of puzzles, and obstacle courses with the occasional mini-game.

The swinging on ropes, jumping on spring pads, shooting grappling hooks, and even flying jet packs give a really fun twist on some things!

You can interact with other players in multiplayer as well such as grappling on to the other player to prevent yourself from falling into a hazard. (Mom and I have had many a laugh over that one!) One time me and my mom had purple smoke hazards on either side of the screen and I "accidentally" used R1 to drag her character into it. :-D.

So there is my blog review on Little big planet 2. Get it for Playstation 3 now. Bye!

Weird predalien concept. Not my work.

  1. I'm sad we didn't have time to play this together this past weekend. Those laughs are worth soooo much!
