Terminator

Hi everybody. Today I'm doing a movie review. Here it goes.

So on Friday night me, my dad, and my mom watched Terminator. Last night we watched Terminator 2. This is a review on Terminator. I might do a review on Terminator 2 sometime. Terminator is a mix between an action and a horror movie.

For those of you who haven't heard about it, it is about a robot called the Terminator who travels back in time to 1984 to kill Sarah Conner. If he does it will turn the tide of the robot extermination of humans in 2029. But the resistance also managed to send back a protector for Sarah. Kyle Reese. So the Terminator chases after Sarah and Reese to kill her. The special effects were cool.

I could tell they were fake but they were still cool. I liked when it was fixing his eye and wrist. The ending was also very cool. I recognized James Cameron's style with tha bad guy coming back to life. Because in Alien Ripely thought the Alien got blown up but it was still on the ship. Or when the alien queen showed up and tore apart Bishop. In Terminator they think he's dead twice.

So overall Terminator was really cool. My favorite part was when the Terminator was chasing them in his all robot form. Bye!

Summer

Hello peoples. Today I'm gonna talk about my summer plan. Here it goes.

So yesterday school ended. It was a pretty easy day because we just played on computers and went outside. So today I'm doing my summer plan. I made a spreadsheet on my iPad to help organize my thinking. It helped me to not get bored or tired.

So first I eat breakfast and watch a 20 min cartoon. I learned that lesson a while ago. See on the first day of spring break when i was testing being alone out I forgot to eat breakfast. So when my dad came at 11:00 I had no energy and almost died on a bike around the neighborhood. Afterwards I do a math lesson on my iPad and play 30 minutes of videogames.

Then I do a blog which I'm doing now. :). So it helps me a lot to organize myself and not go off track. Also there's breaks of fun in between the chores so I don't feel overwhelmed. I'm completely whelmed. :D. I also plan on lots of biking swimming and playing when my parents are home.

So that's what I be doing over the summer. I might even try to mow some lawns for money. Bye!

Forbidden Island

Hey peoples. Today I'm blogging on a board game. It's called Forbidden Island.

Forbidden Island is a game where you try to get 4 different artifacts before the island sinks. The story is that an ancient culture had 4 artifacts that could control the four elements. When their race was dying out they decided to hide the artifacts on the f
Forbidden Island and make it sink if someone ever went on it. There's the Fire Crystal, the Earth Stone, the Wind Statue, and the Water Chalice. You're team works together too.

The game is made up of square tiles in the shape of a diamond that's the island. There's treasure cards and flood cards. Every turn you get 2 treasure cards. If you get 4 cards with the same artifact symbol and get to one of the 2 corresponding island tiles to get the artifact. Every turn you draw flood cards equal to the water level and if you draw a tile it gets flooded, draw it again and that tile gets taken out of the game.

The water level goes up every time you draw a waters rise card from the treasure deck. It shuffles the flood cards drawn so far and they get added back on top the flood deck and also the higher the water level the higher number of cards get drawn each turn. If the water level gets to 5 everybody loses because you have to work together. Every player has a special power that's only his to help win. You can take 3 actions per turn, move, unflood a tile, trade cards with a player, or collect a treasure.

I think this is a app for it on the iPad.

I really like Forbidden Island because you can work together. And there's no arguments. By people's!

Allan Quartermain

Hi. This blog is on Allan Quartermain. Allan Quartermain is a adventurer.

Dad suggested it. I read it on the kindle app on my iPad. Dad said it was like Indiana Jones. I read the first book. It was called King Solomon's Mines.

Allan Quartermain met sir Henry and Good. And Sir Henry mentioned the quest because his brother was lost their. Allan had a map but never believed it. So they set off into the desert. With a servant named Umpoba.

Soon though they were dying of thirst, starvation, and the cold in the mountain. Eventually they made it to a lost land and savages were there. They almost killed them. But they convinced them that they were gods from the stars. So then they had to unseat the cruel king and escape with jewels from Solomon's mines.

Allan Quartermain was a good book. It was a little slow in the beginning but it got more intense. I thought that it was pretty good but not as good as Tarzan or Warlord of Mars. I thought he was like John Carter in the sense that they didn't see themselves as heroes. It made a whole new genre. Bye!

Bakugan are small round balls that open when you put its magnet on something. It's a lot like Pokemon or Beyblades. Bakugan is a game you can play. It's 2-4 players. The goal of the game is to get 3 gate cards. You can collect Bakugan too.

So first you need 3 Bakugan. Next you need 6 different cards. 3 gate cards and 3 ability cards. The Bakugans attribute or element can be Pyris,

Aquos,

Haos,

Darkus,

Ventus,

and Sub-terra.

In other words fire, water, light, dark, wind, and earth.

To play you roll a Bakugan onto a gate card and if it opens you add it's power printed inside it to the gate cards bonus for you're element and any ability card. The highest number wins the gate card. Those are the basics but they are a lot more rules too. Some cards especially ability cards can bend rules and do special things. There's also different Bakugan types. Like clear,

translucent,

pearl,

spinning,

jumping,

dice rolling,

double Bakugan,

double attribute,

split in half,

element wheel, and more. They are also Bakugan traps which are not just round and can change you're element.

Bakugan battle gear fits on the backs of some Bakugan and give it more power.

Bakugan are really cool. My brother plays it with me too. Bye!
