Gross Point

Hi. Today I've got another comic review. Here it goes.

The comic series is called Gross Point. It's a humor comic. It's about twins who come to a town called gross point. Gross Point is filled with psychotic murderers, monsters, and other creepy things.the twins help face these things. It ran for 14 issues.

There parents are completely blind to what's going on too. They have to survive with little help from others. Along with their self replicating dog with 2 buts and no head. They also have a house shaped like a duck next door. A lighthouse no where near water. The story is done by Mark Waid and Brian Augustyn.

Even a school filled with monster kids. It's got the art style of a children's comic. With the gore of a horror movie. My favorite character is ham. He's a guy that is dating the sister twin and turns into a monster whenever he touches her.

It's illustrated by S.M Taggart and aired august 97 to august 98.

I love gross point. It's very funny. Bye!

The Last Apprentice

Hey people's. Today I'm gonna talk about the Last Apprentice series. Here it goes.

The Last Apprentice series is a horror series. So far they have 10 books out. They are based off of old European legends with unique twists. Such as witches literally being able sniff out danger from miles away in Europe and banshees haunting Ireland. They are also other creatures that just sprang from the authors mind too. It's very scary and after reading the first book it made me fear my bunk bed and things that go bump in the night.

Thomas Ward is a seventh son of a seventh son. This makes him able to hear and see things other children can't. He lives in the County, a world without electricity or modern technology where it is very dangerous to go out at night. This also makes him eligible to be the spooks apprentice. A spook is a person who is called on when things from legend start to hurt and scare. There's something more to Thomas Ward though not just a staff and a silver chain.

I'm currently on the tenth book in the series and so far I'm astounded by the artwork. I know it's a particular style but I can't name it. The colors and strokes perfectly convey the authors style of horror. It's drawn by Patrick Arrasmith. It's written by Joseph Delaney.

So that's the Last Apprentice series be sure to pick up the first book the Revenge of the Witch. Bye!

Do a Barney Oilfeild

Hey people's. I'm blogging on my Dad's blog. Here it goes.

Ok first off.....my Dad is.....Dad. He's not really supposed to be cool. No offense. Now he is kinda broadcasting it to the world. Also he's big and I'm so very very small.

I like his blog though. It's fun to read. It's good because I get to hear more about him. Reading his blog is like getting possessed by Dad. It's fun and creepy.

I do like his topics too. Its like every old movie Dad showed rolled up into a geeky blog. I especially like the stories and stuff about movies and tv shows. It reminds me of an Indiana Jones movie guest starring Aquaman. It's also fun to hear about his past. I had never heard about the guerrilla gorilla story.

So that's my thoughts on my fathers blog. Check out Do a Barney Oilfield here.

Bye!!

P.S. that wrestling/fart story never happened!

P.S.S. the books were way better than the movie in dad's first blog!

The dark knight rises

Hi people's. Today is another video game review. Here it goes.

So I'm gonna talk about the iPad video game the Dark knight rises. So far it is a really good game. It is definitely worth the 4.99. Probably my favorite part is how you can move. Instead their being separate levels there's just different stages.

So if you're on one skyscraper in the city. Which is a stage and bane is on the other with a hostage you can jump off the building glide with you're cape behind him, grapple to the top and use a assortment of karate moves to fight him. There's also mini games. Such as a tap sequence to get out of something and a game to hack computers. My favorite is the second one.

You can also use all of his vehicles. My favorite is the bat pod. There's also the bat. Unfortunately I don't think you can use the bat mobile. It's my second favorite after infinity blade 2.

So that's it. Bye!
