The New 52!!!

Hello all my millions of loving fans! If you missed my last blog it was about the Superboy New 52 comic from DC.

The New 52 is a new universe in which they restart all the story lines of all of the superheroes. I love the new 52 and here's a review on one of those comics.

The comic I will review today is the first and second issues of…


Frankenstein Agent of Shade is a great comic. It's creepy, cool, scary, and full of of but-kicking monsters! It's kind of weird but after the first issue you really get into it. The storyline by Jeff Lemire and the art by Alberto Ponticelli is really fun. The art has lots of gritty details and creepy inking that's great for a good scary comic book.









The characters are really cool too. Father time is brave and wise but kind of meddles with things that should be left alone. Agent Griffith, the werewolf, seems new and loyal and is likely to keep everybody in line. Khali, the mummy, is very mysterious and nobody knows very much about him yet. Nina, the fish/human, is very sad but at least she's found a way to keep on living. Velcoro, the bat/human/vampire, is very mean and feels like everything is owed to him.

Frankenstein is introduced into the Shade headquarters and father time explains the situation to him. Soon he is dispatched into a small town near bone lake. Unfortunately the entire town is filled with millions of enormous monsters from a portal in the lake because their planet got too crowded.


That might be a problem. Then father time introduces him to his team. After they get to know each other they eliminate the monster threat in the town.








Next they go to bone lake and Frankenstein and the girl goes through the portal and finds his wife surrounded by monsters uh-oh.

THE NEW 52 !!!

Hello everybody! Today I'm going to talk about one of the ... New 52 comics from DC! Recently DC released a series called Flashpoint which to say it briefly involves Flash running around a lot and creating a new universe. Yyyeeeaaahhh.... My Dad read it and he didn't like it very much but he and I are very happy with the new 52.

Here it is. The comic I will review today is the first and second issue of........


Superboy is so far one of my favorite comics and I like it a lot. One of my favorite things is probably the art by R. B. Sylvia. I might even make my own art after her before I find my own style of art.







So far the main characters are Superboy, Red, Rose Wilson, and Templar. Red is a doctor that helped create Superboy from superman's DNA and a humans DNA and making a clone. Rose is Superboy's friend in the virtual reality program that he trains in and a soldier or a mercenary for n.o.w.h.e.r.e. because supposedly it's not supposed to exist. Templar is a bad guy who is trying to make Superboy into a weapon.

It starts out in a laboratory at n.o.w.h.e.r.e. and they are making him.


Then it's Superboy in the virtual reality program at a small town and school where he's best friends with Rose Wilson. Shortly after the soldiers and generals involved try to kill him because they think he's imperfect. Red tries to stop them but she got held back and Superboy's defense mechanism kicks in and he kills a general and a couple of soldiers. Next issue Templar tries to convince red to give him Superboy but she refuses but he wins out and he's taken to a prison for rebellious aliens with Rose and tries to take down 3 renegade aliens.





After lots of fighting Superboy gets knocked out and the prison sky ship starts krumbling...


What will happen next?

In conclusion I love the new 52 version of Superboy and the art. I can thank my Dad for the comics and info. Without him I wouldn't be the nerd/geek/dork that I am. ;) Expect more 52 reviews from me soon.

TREMORS!!!!!

I'm sure most of you have seen one of my sisters old blogs that she did on the movie Tremors right? Well here's my view on the subject. Tremors is a very good action/horror movie.




It is second or 3rd on the list of my favorite horror movies. My favorites so far are Aliens and the Changeling. But Tremors is still a must see movie for anyone old enough. I would say at least 10 which was when me and Katie saw it. It is rated PG-13.




It starts out in a small town called Perfection in the middle of nowhere and the stars are Valentine and Earl They eventually have a run in with one of the worms and kill it. Unfortunately later they find out about 3 other of these monsters. Once Valentine and Earl are back in town some of their friends kill one but sadly they take out all 4 wheel drive vehicles that is nessasary to get out of the town and to the mountains where they will be safe. But they find a bulldozer and manage to escape and kill the other 2.




These are the main characters that had a big part in the movie. They are listed in the order of importance Valentine, Earl, Rhonda, Burt, heather, Bobby, nancy, Miguel, Mindy, and Nester but there are more. My favorite is Valentine but I think Burt has the most personality.




So I conclude that Tremors is a great movie and very good. It is kind of like Jaws. It's better because it's scarier because Tremors could get you almost anywhere while you would have to go in the water for Jaws to hurt you. It's downside is a man eating skark is more likely to happen then a giant worm. I love the movie Tremors.
One more thing my uncle Matt's favorite line is when Valentine says what the he//s going on I mean what the he//s going on! Nice taste in humor Matt.

Predators!!!

Predators !!!



Hello it's Ashton here.

Continuing my Aliens and Predator blogs next comes the Predator movie. Predator is a awesome film filled with drama, thrills, action, suspense, and horror. The only other things you could ask from it would be romance and comedy. I have not seen Predator 2, Predators, or Alien versus Predators but I plan to.

I think one of the most interesting characters in that movie is probably Billy. If you do not know him he is the native American tracker and one of dutchs friends. It stars Dutch. Accompanying him are Billy, Dillion, Anna, Mac, Blain, and Poncho Unfortunately they all die except for Anna and Dutch at the hands of merciless predator. Eventually the predator dies though and Dutch and Anna get away.

I like the Aliens series and the Predator series but so far I think the Aliens beat the Predators. Also I think that the first alien is Scarier but Predator has more action. Aliens so far is my favorite all time horror movie yet though.

I'm only aloud to watch scary movies that Mom and Dad have seen and approved. And rarely are they R rated unless it's a special occasion.

So I am a big horror fan. My opinion of a true horror fan is someone who thinks their scary but doesn't tell his parents so he can keep on watching. I love the movie Predator.

Mario, Rebecca, and Sophia!



Hello everybody I'm here with a blog.

This time I'm going to tell you about Mario, Rebecca, and Sophia. Rebecca and Mario are married and have a daughter named Sophia. She is almost 1.



They decided to have her baptized at St. Katherines Greek orthodox church in Virginia on October 8, 2011. Mario grew up in Virginia and might of went to that church. It was hosted by Mario and Rebecca and Sofia's godfather Dino. Dad and Mario were friends as teenagers so we were invited sometimes we even call him uncle Mario. Alot of dad's friends and Marios friends were also there.


At the church the priests said lots of speeches and things from the bible. And the important things were said 3 times because of the holy trinity. It was in a big room that you could see from the outside had a giant domed roof. It was also covered with paintings from the bible and the dome was a circle of Jesus' life. Then Sophia was baptized. Shortly after we all went to a reception at one of the guests house.






The food was awesome and there was a lot of it. I liked dessert best though. There was cookies and cookies and more COOKIES!!! We also ran around in the back yard and I had a excellent time. Mostly I sat and talked with the adults about comic books and made jokes.

The next day we went to Matt and Tony's house and that was really cool. Their house is enormous and it had like 150 fun things for you to do. Everyone was there including Mario, Rebecca, and Sophia. They also have a really fun park with a basketball court right beside their house and that might of been the best part. I swung around on the jungle gym and played basketball. We then went the long way and walked back to the house. Once there we had cheeseburgers but then we left soon after that. I had a great time.

Birthday Party

Hello everybody it's me with a post

Today I'm going to tell you about my birthday party. It was on october 1 although my real birthday is on October 5th. I loved it and it was the best birthday I've had in a long time. I will turn 12 this Wednesday and I can't wait.



By 5 o'clock we had chips, pretzels, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, and all my favorite sodas including root beer and Sunkist and the guests started coming. I invited Mason, a different mason, Derek, Eric, Robert, and Orion. But one mason, Derek, and Robert couldn't come. Then all of my dad's friends from work started coming. First me and my friends went into the sunroom and started joking around and playing dodgeball with party music. We also called my cat Steppenwolf a cow because he's black and white spots.




then later we ate and had soda, cheeseburgers, and snacks. Soon after that mom brought out cupcakes and I blew out the candles and had cupcakes and ice cream.




Then my friends went into the living room And we watched an extremely funny movie called Monty python and the holy Grail. It makes fun of King Authur and the quest to find the holy grail.




Next we had presents and I got a nerf gun, books awesome cards, gift cards, and money but the best present would be staying with all my friends for an awesome party that I will never forget.
