Hi today I'm going to write about a new hit video game for the wii and the computer called Skylanders for Christmas.



The story of skylanders is that there whole world is floating chunks of earth so they mostly travel by air balloon. It is governed by portal masters and they made the core of light to keep the darkness away. The core was weakening though and soon all was left was the most powerful portal master Eon. He use his portal to teleport Skylanders across the land to protect people. The core of light finally weakened enough so the darkness came and kaos destroyed the core of light an the skylanders got shot through time and space to earth as the figures. We have to send them through the portal of light to rebuild the core of light.



The figures are really cool. My favorite is Bash. He is earth type and you can tell by the base which is rocky. You can buy a figure and put it on the portal an it comes to life in the video game and they're great collectibles. It's data is even stored in the figure so you can bring it to you're friends house and play it on his system!









So skylanders is a really cool game that I love a lot. Hope you look into it, bye.

I'm going to do a blog on my Christmas. To put it simply it was AWSOME!!!



So last Thursday was the last day of school before Christmas break. The next day my grandparents arrived. Then it was Christmas eve. We decided to go see a movie and they forced me to sit through a movie that was Chipwrecked. I have bad experiences with Alvin and the chipmunks because last year I had the flu on Christmas eve and my whole body was hurting from shopping and I had a huge headache and then they made me sit through the second Alvin and the Chipmunks movie AAAUUUGGHHH!!!! HELP ME!! Next we went to Rumsey tavern at 3 but it wasn't as good as normal because we had to eat the lunch menu. Finally we went to church to see a pageant. Lastly we had desert at our house and dad read Santa Mouse again.



As you would expect I didn't sleep very much and I woke up at 6:30 and tossed and turned till 7:30 when my parents said to come out. Me my brother and sister gathered in front of the entrance to the living room where the presents were in. The entrance was covered in wrapping paper. When my dad said go we ran through the wrapping paper grabbed our stockings and sat by our pile of presents! Next we would take turns ripping open the presents.

Alex liked his presents a lot but he liked his Thundercats sword of omens best. When you push the buttons it elongates and makes sounds. It's after a earlier Thundercats show that was In the 80's. And recently they remade it into a newer tv show.









My sister's favorite toy was her Monster high dolls. They are barbies made after monsters so the one she has is "Frankie Stein ". My opion is that there creepy, goth ridiculous Barbie dolls that will give me nightmares in my sleep but Katie seems to like them.









My favorite toys were probably the skylanders video game, My double Nerf swords and my iPod case.

Skylanders is in the world of Spyro where you take a 4 inch figure and put it on a platform and the character comes up on the screen for you to play with.












The nerf double sword are two one handed swords that can connect together at the hilt.







The iPod battery case is a red case that you put you're iTouch in to more than double you're battery it also helps with gaming.








So I had a great Christmas and presents but I liked being with my friends and family best. Have a Merry Christmas.

Hi today I'm going to talk about how me and my dad spar. Hope you like it!



When I was 4 years old I started doing karate. I was a second degree blue belt almost a brown belt when I stopped about a year ago because their wasn't enough time. I am going to start doing it again when we have enough time.



We still practice karate a lot though. On Tuesday I practice karate with Katie on Wednesday with Alex and on Thursday with katie and so on till Friday. So I practice 2 times as much as them.



Also to help with the practice my dad comes out sometimes and we get on our old fighting equipment from karate class and we spar. First we would just fight normally and take turns fighting him. The second time we fight him we do when he knocks down how to get up as quickly as possible.

When we were fighting at karate the rules were different though. You couldn't kick below the belt or on the back or face but you could hit the head. Punches were 1 point, kicks were 2, and spin or jump kicks were 3. The first one to 5 won.



I kinda like sparing and beating up dad and it's fun too. Afterwards I'm a little out of breath though. It's exhilarating and very fun.

Super 8 movie review



Hi today I'm going to write about the new movie super 8. Super 8 is a movie that takes place in the 1980's when some kids stumble upon a government secret and strange things begin to happen. This is one of many movie reviews that I've done so far. Hope you like it.

It starts out telling how the main character's mother died in a accident. Then him and his friend start filming a monster movie with the super 8 cameras but on their scene a car comes up onto the rail tracks and totally destroys the train. And the boy see something escape from one of the railroad tracks. And a monster is loose!



It was a very good movie and it had a lot of sci fi. And the ending is very good to. It also has very cool scenes like when the creature is chasing them through underground tunnels and when tanks are going through their neighborhood and shooting missiles in the chaos and the kids are just running across yards and dodging missiles. The coolest part was when the train crashed though.

Beyblades

Hi today I'm going to do a blog on Beyblades. They are one of my favorite toys. They are spinning tops that you use a launcher to shoot into a stadium. The first one to stop spinning or get's knocked out of the stadium first wins. Here's my blog.






First you put the ripcord into the launcher and stick the Beyblade onto the bottom of the launcher.


There are 3 other Beyblade launchers I know about. One is the same size as the regular one but instead of a ripcord it has a string connected to the launcher that you pull.


The other 2 are similar to each other only one has a laser light for accurate shots and the other has a stronger launch. I only have the regular ones though.



There a 4 main different types of Beyblades. The first are just the regular ones about a inch high and you can customize them.


The second type are called tornado Beyblades they are the same only they are cooler and and have a middle piece that makes them taller and it normally beats the other ones because it's taller and will hammer down on the other shorter ones. The third type is the electronic ones they are like the first type only they are bigger and have sound effects and lights.


The last and my favorite Beyblades are normal ones but there legendary beys that are hard to get and they have and electronic controller that can make it spin left or right and it can do a turbo boost.

To the original Beyblades there are 5 different parts that come apart so you can customize you're own. The first part is called a face bolt that fits at the top in the center it has a hexagonal shape and has the Beyblades symbol on it.


The second part called a energy ring fits inside the main part an the face bolt goes through all of the parts and holds it together. It has the style to the Beyblade and it helps with performance.


The middle part is metal and and also helps hold the pieces together. It's metal and the part that actually hits the other Beyblade.


The fourth part is the spin track and helps it move.


The last part is the tip and tells how the Beyblade moves.



In the package is also a card that has a code on it. At Beybladebattles.com you can enter the code in order to play the game. This is my favorite tornado Beyblade.


Unfortunately I do not have any of the other ones but I hope to get my all time favorite super rare electronic launcher l drago destroy Beyblade. It beats almost every Beyblade.

Batman Brave and the Bold

Sniff sniff sob aaauuuggh! Oh wait am I writing this? Okay today I'm going to talk about the Batman Brave and the Bold show. I just finished watching the last episode of it and crying my eyes out so here's cough cough a blog in memorial of that awesome show.



Batman Brave and the Bold is a show where every episode is Batman and another superhero helping him fight bad guys. My favorite episodes was when they fought Starro, when the batman universes collided, and when Bat mite accidentally gave Joker all of his powers.



It ran for 3 seasons and they were all very good. It was a bit brighter Batman than most. It was also filled with classic things and cheesy catchphrases that fans/geeks love and are smiling throughout the show. It really brings more happy things to the show and I love how the makers don't care about wat's cool or what most kids want I think they made the show to make fans happy.

It also had a lot of characters that weren't quite as famous as like Superman. Black Orchid and the Haunted tank would be one of them.

The last episode had Bat mite watching the show and wanting a darker Batman.


So he decides to make it really bad and Batman's universe starts falling apart because people are no longer watching it.


But ambush bug comes in and starts trying to make him cool again.


Finally he succeeds but he has to tell Batman that he doesn't really exist and Batman keeps on fighting to make people do good things and be a good influence. Then in the end every character was in the Batcave and slowly we watched in despair as they took apart the set of the Batcave.

So I loved the show and I really am very disappointed that it's ending. It really made a lot of people like the DC universe a lot more and it brought more uplifting stories to the scene instead of the comics where Batman almost kills the bad guys and where Superman is a jerk. Let us now have a moment of silence. I'm gonna cry myself to sleep now.
