So a while ago I watched Nosferatu. Nosferatu is German for not dead or undead. The movie was filmed in 1929. It was a silent movie. Nosferatu is probably the second most famous vampire in the world.
The Orlok castle.
The vampire in Nosferatu is named Count Orlok. No he does not sparkle. So Count Orlok has a oddly shaped head, tall with sunken eyes, pointy ears, long sharp fingernails, his 2 front teeth are the vampiric ones, and he preys on victims with no mercy. Dracula is handsome, with vampiric canines and almost always wears a long black cape. Edward sparkles in the sunlight we never even see his teeth and he preys on helpless animals.
A letter from Count Orlok.
The rundown house Orlok wants to live in.
It seems our vampires get more wimpy with age. Maybe less scary too. A Dracula movie hasn't really scared me. I doubt twilight is scary. Nosferatu was pretty creepy. The scares are almost instinctual. The hues and colors ( or absence of them ) make it that much creepier. ( no offense to twig height fans.)
It was named Nosferatu because they couldn't get the rights to Dracula. After the movie they were sued and that's why the actor that played Nosferatu never got any more attention. Film members spread rumors about how the actor was actually a vampire because one ever saw him without his makeup. I learned this from IMDB a awesome movie database.
Even the normal people look creepy.
So there's my thoughts on Nosferatu. Bye!

There is a movie from 2000 called "Shadow of the Vampire" which tells the story about the behind-the-scenes of "Nosferatu". It was kind of funny and creepy and a really good movie. You should check it out! NOSFERATU RULES! Twilight drools!
